American Revenue Society Awards — Instructions for the Jury

At a WSP Show where the ARA is having its Annual Convention

The ARA Grand is given to the best multi-frame exhibit judged in the Revenue class. If this exhibit has won the ARA Grand at one of the last three ARA meeting shows it should NOT be given the ARA Grand UNLESS it has also won the Show Grand or Reserve Grand.

Those exhibits NOT eligible UNLESS they win the Show Grand or Reserve Grand will be provided by the Exhibits Chair or President for each Convention show.

The ARA Best One-Frame Exhibit Award is given to the best one-frame exhibit judged in the Revenue class. It should not be given to an exhibit that has won the award in the last three years UNLESS that exhibit is given the Show Best One Frame.

The one-frame exhibits NOT eligible UNLESS they win the Show Best One-Frame will be provided by the Exhibits Chair.

Neither award should be given if there is no exhibit reaching at least vermeil in that particular award class.

ARA gold medals are given to Revenue class exhibits that are awarded show gold or vermeil.

ARA silver medals are given to Revenue class exhibits that are awarded show silver or silver-bronze medals.

ARA bronze medals are given to Revenue class exhibits that are awarded show bronze medals.

No ARA medal should be given to an exhibit judged to merit a certificate of participation.

All WSP Shows where the ARA is NOT holding its Annual Convention

The ARA Best Revenue Exhibit award is to be awarded only if there are three or more exhibits judged in the Revenue class. These can be one or multi-frame exhibits. The winner is that revenue exhibit, vermeil or above, which in the opinion of the judges is the best overall. Again, this can be a one or multi-frame exhibit. If none of the exhibits earns a vermeil or above, do not make the award.

It does not make any difference whether the exhibit has been given the award in the past.
